How do I know if therapy is right for me?
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programing, Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy is different from other types of therapy. it focuses on change and moving forward rather then the past. It helps you rewire the brain through neuroplascity. Therapy can benefit anyone seeking emotional balance, clarity, or personal growth. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, this type of therapy gives you the tools, and support to help you navigate and overcome challenges or areas you are stuck and improve overall well-being.
I use a combination of coaching, NLP and Clinical Hypnotherapy to help you achieve mental wellbeing.
What can I expect during my free 15 minute consultation?
This can be arranged over the phone or online via zoom. During this consultation we can discuss what you would like to work on in a comfortable and guided way. It will be confidential and I can let you know if I can help you, and you can decide if you would like to work with me. Many people find even this small conversation helpful
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session focuses on understanding your concerns, goals, and background. I will create a safe, nonjudgmental space for open conversation and begin developing a personalised plan to support your emotional healing and growth. I will take a brief case history and then start the change process by finding out what you would like instead, followed by a quick process on the issue.
Some issues can be resolved in just one session others require three or more.
Are my therapy sessions completely confidential?
Yes. All sessions are confidential. I only share anonymous information with my supervisor. I will not share any personal information without your consent, ensuring a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment for open communication. The only exception will be if there is a professional and legal responsibility to do so. Such specific and highly limited circumstances include if a I feel you could be a danger to yourself or others. It is my preference to openly discuss this with you and make a referral with your consent due to legal obligations I cannot guarantee this.
How long does it take to see results from therapy?
Results vary depending on your needs and goals. Most people notice improvements in how they are feeling after the first session, some benefit from more sessions to get long lasting transformative change.
Do you offer online or virtual sessions?
Yes, I offer secure and convenient virtual sessions from the comfort of your home, making therapy flexible, accessible, lower cost and effective for your schedule and lifestyle.
Do you offer in person sessions?
Yes, I offer in person sessions in my lovely garden therapy room in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. There is a separate entrance and you will be looking out at trees and flowers outside the window. There is parking nearby. Full details on how to get here are given on booking.
